Key facts

Manual testing is a type of Software Testing where Testers manually execute test cases without using automation tools.

Description

Manual testing is the process of manually testing software in order to find defects without the usage of tools or automation scripting. It requires a tester to play the role of an end user whereby they use most of the application's features to ensure correct behavior. To guarantee completeness of testing, the tester follows a written test plan that leads them through a set of important test cases. General recommendation for beginners: be passionate about what you learn; be patient in learning, do not expect to learn everything in one day. Just remember - it’s hard, but Possible; be proactive - read not only exact recommended links, but related topics/links as well, find new articles, tutorials, etc; do not expect from yourself to know everything before sending CV and attending interview; enjoy learning and have fun. Success is a road, not a final.
