Key facts

A Business Analyst at an IT project ensures that the problem and solution are clear to the Team who implements and tests the product.

Description

A Business Analyst communicates with anyone who has any sort of relation to the product (stakeholders) in order to understand the problems, elicit / document / maintain solutions (requirements) and clearly transmit them to the technical stakeholders (e.g. developers and qc etc.) who can then make the solutions become real. Generally speaking, a Business Analyst helps people from business (who operate in the environment of markets, competitors, money etc. and who have ideas on what products are needed) get along with the technical people (who implement the ideas from the technical perspective by writing code, testing. Releasing etc.). These two groups very often have a hard time talking to each other. Business Analysts apply a number of tools and techniques to make that communication go smooth.
