From project founder:

Once in LinkedIn I read a post from unknown developer that sooner or later everybody ask himself/herself, "What have I done for disabled people?" He wanted to provide his help and was looking for those who would like to study IT.

This post forced me to think about. What if this person is not the only one. So that, I had decided to create a common space for children or disabled people who would like to study IT but do not have financial opportunity for it, and IT professionals who would like to help.

Project uaSHki is the result of several people work. The main goal is to provide equal opportunity for decent life for everyone. It does not matter what financial background he or she has now.

The project is ONLY for free studying. It will remain that.

If you would like to be useful for someone and to give someone an opportunity to make his or her dream come true, then we are glad to see you in uaSHki.

If you would like to study IT, we are glad as well and are waiting for you.

Study process here:

Studying takes place according the statements that were discussed between a teacher and a student. A quantity and frequency of hours are discussed individually.

For teachers

If you would like to share your experience, pay your attention on the list of students or add your teacher profile, to other students could find you. In case you have found a candidate you would like to study, click Contact button, after it this contact will be added to your profile in My contacts, the student will be notified via email. In case of accepting or declining your request, you will be notified via email as well, and if your request was accepted you would have permissions to see contacts to each other.

After you see contact data you can contact each other to discuss studying.

For students

Dear parents, it takes a lot of time and efforts from student to study IT. Student motivation is needed here. You can only support him or her. It would be much more effective to student would be interested in this opportunity . Any student can ask questions, sign up and contact with teachers. Thank you.
